I wonder why the bug hasnt been fixed yet that shows one extra reply in every thread. Shouldnt be that hard to fix I guess. Oooohh a RE-ply .. no its just my OP smiley

Um, it's really more of a labelling error tbh. It's just a count of the total number of posts, including the first one. You're probably thinking the first post should be excluded from the count... wasn't my intention.

Changed the column label smiley

The order for multiple arranging the page numbers for lists that go over many pages seems rather strange and inconsistent for the first and last ones. It seems the order should always display the number of the current, previous, next and first/last 3 pages. But it doesn't show the next one for the first 3 or displays a ellipsis between adjacent pages... hard to explain...

Basically, this:

I think I remember some even stranger results for lists with <9 pages.

Not really a bug so much as it just being the way I've done it. I don't really see where there is any sort of problem though, other than perhaps if you're on p3 it isn't showing the p4 link. Can't see the issue in any of the others.

Well, wouldn't it make sense if they were all consistent? Me likes the 3 pages in the middle.

But I don't think I understand it wholly. -Whatever you think is best!

I got 100 Snarkmarks now (just noticed lol) but I can't setup my country flag yet.

It still shows me this: Earn 100 snarkmarks to select a country flag!

Maybe I got something like 99,7 Snarkmarks?

Ok it's fine now, I hope no one else will have the same problem.

Will there be more unlocks in the future?
I was thinking of making a thread called "Post your unlock ideas"

I made a small change as you would need over 100 for the country flag - set it to be 100 or more which is what it's labelled as I think.

If anyone has any ideas for any more things like this then by all means float the idea. If I can find the time I don't mind implementing anything reasonable.

Prolly posted already but, the search feature doesn't work very well. At least not as well as it once did.

I typed in "recently read" a forum title and it couldn't find it. I had to seek it out manually... Snarkpit is to large to seek things out manually.

and

The "whos online" needs to be by registration date. smiley

I just noticed, after I added a comment, it says I posted it at 10:30am, however it's 11:30am in Melbourne. I've checked the control panel and in the settings I do have it set in Australian Eastern Time which is appropriate timezone for Melbourne. I'm thinking, it's probably to do with daylight savings, but thought I'd just let you know because it's incorrect.

In the "Maps" section of the site, under Left 4 Dead 2 there is only Tower - Survival, and not my map next to it, Ladenisty - Survival.

Edit: It seems it does only show maps with a 4 or 5 star rating (as I heard from Riven).

That's a good catch Tnk, Worth looking into to get fixed.

And yea, Nib, that's why it shows up like that. I would agree though, it feels like a bug because it was an oversight. We should probably make it so that if a game has less than 10 maps for it, regardless of their rating, those maps should cycle on the maps page if that game is a featured game. and then also, since we don't have many maps rated, perhaps we should lower the shown ratings to 3-5 instead of just the 4 & 5 rated maps.

And while I'm at it, there's two things I'd liked fixed hehe smiley

  • when adding a new map or editing an existing map on the map edit page, when you click the 'select games' list, the games are not listed alphabetical like they are on the maps landing page. They're listed as most recently added to the DB with the most recent towards the bottom. Can we make that list alphabetical too? Sometimes we gets maps listed under the wrong game and users tell me they didn't know we had their game listed.

  • This is for admins: When selecting the order of featured games for the maps landing page, (the "up/down" options). They don't work like they're supposed to most of the time. Depends which ones you select but no matter how long you play around with it, there are some combinations which are just impossible. It's like a little puzzle.

Hopefully these are issues that can be fixed easily. I understand you're especially busy this time of year larchy. smiley

  • Yes, it would be really great if this gets fixed. Right now it's just the newest game at the bottom, and the oldest one added at the top.

I think this has been discussed before as well.

lol Didn't check when I posted smiley

Magic can do a lot of things.

Edit: New bug (probably). When you click one of the screenshots of my map, it opens a window smaller than the image itself. Probably because I used widescreen pictures.
