Map Description

This map has a discussion topic which can be visited here

You start with you just simply doing your job at the launch site, but today you have a special shuttle launch and things start to fall apart. Are you fearless enough and brave enough to conquer the terrors and enemy forces that face you? This is a mod for Opposing Force. This is my first modding project so I hope it turns out well. This mod will consist of an entire series of maps in a campaign.

It will be a little bit longer yet but I will try hard to get it posted by the end of the new weekend. I'm even closer now. Just need to write a tutorial for the last 3 levels, just in case anyone would want it. smiley

Final to do list:
finish tutorial
finish new hazard course
gather all game files

You could use us as a playtest

That would be great. I am working on it especially hard right now and is almost finished. After I post it here I would love to have your feedback about it, and I may release an improved version if I hear enough additional things that I could change/improve.

I will try to finish the mod completely and post it for everyone, hopefully by the end of the weekend, at very most by the end of the next week. I only need to add some minor things, such as more health, to the campaign and complete the new hazard course level, which I will try to wrap up soon. I will also need to include a walkthrough for a couple parts, just in case anyone gets stuck. Nothing too difficult but may be things that can be overlooked, as I discovered during a playtest by someone other than me. Unfortunately playtesting has been low, so expect some potential issues. I only had one other person playtest it (my brother) this is because no one else in my family plays videogames. I can create improved versions of it in the future if I get enough feedback about potential things to change.

I think you will all enjoy it. But it is relatively difficult, but I will compensate by adding more ammo and health before the release. Thanks for watching and I hope you will all enjoy it! Let me know what you think!

The actual campaign is complete now. I just have a few alterations and fixes to do to it and I need to finish the new hazard course level.

Progress is coming along excellently! I am currently working on the ninth different level. (One of those is the new hazard course) If you count every single level (counting multiple parts of some of the larger levels) then there are 13 maps in total. And there are going to be more before it is finished. Progress will probably slow down some since my classes start again on Monday.
