A definitive list of all worthy Sprites in HL


This is a list of all the worthy sprites in the halflife.gcf (what was once the .pak). Its a pain in the butt and a lot of installing to be able to simply open Steam's package files, and I needed to know what sprites were readily available to me. So I went through the package and took out all the sprites and made pics of each of the ones I felt a level designer might be able to use. Some are animated, some are not. Use with your own caution. But more than that, use with your creativity.

When using sprites, replace the .bmp extension with .spr to get them to work.

You should make list of all the DoD and NS sprites. Although all you need is sprite viewer to look at them for your self.

Although a sprite browser is a usefull thing here, it's always handy to have such a list at hand for quick references.

Easier browsable than the one at Vlatitude, bytheway.

Why does everyone fail to put the rope sprite on. It can be nice to use on things like elevators to give a nice effect
